Brayden's First Trip to the Beach

Last weekend we went out of town for the first time. We visited my mom in Paso and went to the beach. Brayden put his feet in the sand and the ocean. The sun was very bright and he had his eyes closed about the whole time. The ocean was very cold and our time in it was very short. I promised him that he will enjoy it more next time.

We had a great time and Brayden was exhausted.

A Month's Worth of Pictures

Okay so I am really behind in pictures. I promise to try and keep up with the postings better now. Brayden and I are starting to get into a good pace now and I actually have time to do things. We are all doing well and Curtis and I both felt well rested yesterday for the first time, after all 3 of us slept in until 11:30 a.m. We are totally enjoying Brayden and can't stop kissing him. I love to hold him while he sleeps and just watch him, even though he will sleep by himself now. The next posting goes with this one, I had some trouble so I did 2 seperate postings.

All of these pictures are of family that came to visit when Brayden was just a week old. First is Uncle Victor and Aunt Stacey. They came up from Bakersfield and picked up Luna's for all of us for lunch. We still think that is the real reason Stacey came to visit. :)

Grandpa and Grandma from Bakersfield came to visit the next day. Here is my dad playing with Brayden, this is before they both took a nap together.

Uncle Gabe, Aunt Cheri, and Andrew came up from L.A. to meet Brayden. It was a long day for Andrew. You can see it wore him out. We also went on our first outing with them. We went for frozen custard. While they were visiting we realized that Andrew and Brayden will be starting Kindergarden at the same time. He was born last December. The thought of this is so weird, partly because he is currently so much bigger than Brayden. View the next posting for the rest of the update!!!

The Rest of the Month's Pictures

They would only let me post 10 pictures at a time, so here are the rest of the pictures. This was a picture of Brayden's first Michigan Game, which they won. They are currently undefeated so Curtis thinks that Brayden is a good luck charm.

Big Grammie Marks is in love with the new little guy, as you can see. The next picture is Brayden's favorite way to sleep. We have to use 2 blankets on the lower half of his body to help keep the upper half warm.
This was after Brayden's first real bath. He loves the bath and enjoys the warm towel snuggles afterwards even more.

The next 3 pictures were when we were just having some fun with Brayden. They were obviously taken on a Saturday since he is once again in his Michigan outfit.

This picture was taken on 10/3, Brayden's 1 month birthday. Two important things, he is now 10 lbs and 5 oz, which explains why I haven't posted anything sooner. I was spending all my time feeding him. Also, yes he is in a Christmas outfit. It got cold and he did not fit in any of his warm clothes. Most of them had feet coverings attached and for those of you who have seen my son's feet, they did not fit in those cute little feet holes. We have since been shopping and Big Grammie got him hooked up. He is now warm and in season.
Okay this picture is for Uncle Charlie and PaPa in Bakersfield. Another outfit he never got to wear because of the foot size. He just put it on for pictures. I was not going to object, how often will I get to put my son in purple?
This is to make up for the last picture. It is a total Daddy outfit, notice the soccer socks on his feet. Yes, he does have the Michigan onesie under the Michigan sweatshirt.
