Easter Weekend

We spent Brayden's first Easter in Paso Robles with my mom and step dad. We had a great time. Curtis and I decorated eggs on Saturday, while Big Grammie was forced to play with Brayden. The green egg in the corner is a replica of Len, done by Curtis. Yes I was the nice wife who made the Michigan egg, it was the only egg I made without glitter.
Saturday night we tried to play uno attack. Somebody, who shall remain nameless but is related to me and lives in Fresno and was playing the game with her son, left the game on and the batteries were dead. Len searched the house for new C batteries and found some in a box that apparently has not been open since he moved to California. He was upset that these new batteries didn't work. Finally he looked at the box and read that they expired in Jan of 1993. We then proceeded to play dominos.
Easter morning the Fresno Easter Bunny brought Brayden a bucket full of toys and a new bunny book. His favorite thing in there was the free shovel that came with the bucket.
The Paso Easter Bunny brought Brayden his first Easter Basket filled with fun things. Actually it was half empty because Grammie Bunny had a hard time waiting until Easter morning.
Brayden went on his first egg hunt, with a little help from me. We found them all except one which Papa had to find for us. It was hidden to high for us.
I thought I should include a picture to show you that we didn't spend the whole day in our jammies.
