Halloween Cuties!

I usually don't like Halloween, but this year it was a pretty fun weekend.  We had a Halloween party at preschool and they were excited to wear their costumes.  They look so cute!
Above they are doing the flag salute.  They made jack-o-laterns with paper and decorated cookies.  Colby is getting pretty good with the scissors.  But his confidence sometimes scares me.

We carved pumpkins.  I mean Curtis and I carved pumpkins and the boys told us what to do.  Neither of them would even attempt to touch the inside of the pumpkin, and of course they are too young for the knives.  Brayden's pumpkin is a moose.

Brayden helped make dinner on Halloween.  He found a receipe for Banana slugs in one of his magazines, and had to make it.  I thought Halloween was the perfect night to eat slugs.  He made them by himself, and was very proud.

The boys went trick or treating for the first time.  They were unsure at first, but by the 5th house we were chasing them to the next house.  They had so much fun.  There are a lot of steps when you live on hills, so the boys were exhausted by the end of the night.  Brayden always got there first and knocked.  But it was cute because when Colby got there he also knocked, very short and quite.  It reminded of us of trick or treating when we were little, it was fun.

When we got home the boys left their costumes on to pass out candy.  They loved that part of the night too.  We got some cute pictures while they were dressed up and high on sugar.
