Wildlife!

We have been experiencing a lot of wildlife this past week.  Yesterday Brayden was sitting on the couch and saw a deer across the street.  Then he started counting, there were 4.  By the time I got my camera they were over by the hole in the fence.  It was awesome!

This morning Curtis called us in the living room during breakfast.  The deer were also having breakfast, our bushes. There were 3 or 4 of them again.  Brayden keep saying "this is so cool, I have never seen a deer this close."  Curtis and I hadn't either.

Saturday we woke up at 7:15 to a noise.  It turned out to be 4 bears digging through trash at the neighbors behind us.  I saw my first bear, well actually 2.  The problem was it was foggy.  So I really saw 2 big brown blobs going through the hole in the fence.  When we went down stairs we found bear prints coming towards our front door and back across the street towards the fence.  They walked right along our house, probably pushed against our house.  That is so crazy!

The view from our bathroom window.  I usually stare out the window while I brush my teeth.

A picture of our park on a beautiful day.  It was actually very windy, so we took a kite.

The boys love to chase the kite.

Colby walking, I mean flying the kite.

My wild animals!  I love these blankets.  They are warm and fuzzy and good entertainment.

So anyone up for a visit to our wild north?
