Our Easter Weekend!

On Saturday the boys and I went with some friends to an Easter Egg hunt.  It was at a park and the eggs were thrown everywhere.  Colby did great in the 0-3 age group.  Brayden had to try a little harder in the 4-6 age group.  They both had fun.  The best part for them was that the Easter Bunny showed up in a firetruck.  After the egg hunt they got to sit in the firetruck!

On Easter the Easter Bunny hid some yummy eggs for the boys.  They loved looking for them and eating their treats.

Curtis took a little Easter nap.  Colby woke him up with nose snuggles, it was sooooo cute.

That evening we decorated some eggs.  We all had a great time.  Only one egg got broken, and that was not by a child, or me for that matter.

The boys made some Easter decorations.  We had 2 crosses, a blue Easter bunny, and Jesus in a race car.  That's something you don't see everyday.

Happy 3rd Birthday Colby!

My baby boy is 3.  He reminds me all of the time that he is not a baby.  Colby is 40" and 42 lbs and pretty much off the charts for a 3 year old.  He has a huge imagination and an imaginery friend.  He does not play with his friend, he just tells us about all the things him and his friend do.  They go on trips, eat weird things, and ride on all sorts of vehicles.  He will tell you it's just a pretend friend, but some of his stories sound very real.  Colby loves to laugh and make others laugh.  He still can't sit still for a long time.  He loves to do crafts that use glitter glue, scissors, and paint.  It is funny to watch because the top of him will be doing crafts and the bottom of him is standing/sitting/swinging/sliding.  He is almost always talking.  He loves to tell stories and play make believe with anything that is around.

On Colby's birthday we had ice cream and MnMs.

We gave Colby a phone for his birthday.  He can call firefighter Bob.  Everytime he does he laughs because he is so excited.

Wrestling with Daddy!

The boys love to wrestle with their Daddy.  As soon as he walks in the door at night, it's on.  And he has to be ready if he decides to lay on the floor.  Even if they aren't in the room they some how know he is on the floor and attack.  They also love to wrestle with each other.  They are currently taking turns smashing each other.  I don't think growing up with my sisters prepared me for this.

They also love to snuggle.  Which very often turns into wrestling.  The other day Colby got up and the first thing he did was go to Brayden and say "I love you bubba!"  Then Brayden gave him a big hug.  What a pair of cuties!
