Happy Father's Day Curtis! (And My Birthday)

Only on Father's Day could Curtis get away with this. After I made homemade biscuits, gravy, and sausage for breakfast, Curtis and Brayden went to watch Mickey. I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen and when I went in to check on them this is what I found. Curtis got a good nap too because there were 2 episodes of Mickey on that day. But he deserves it. He is the best dad Brayden could ever have. Thanks for being an awesome husband and daddy! Brayden and I love you!!!

That afternoon my dad came to visit. It was great to spend some time with him, especially on Father's Day. Brayden had a lot of fun with him and we had a great afternoon and evening.

For my birthday I got everything I love. Family, friends, the beach, and awesome food. My actual birthday evening was spent with family, friends, teppanyaki, and cheesecake. Wonderful people and wonderful food. On Sunday the 3 of us spent the day at the beach. We had a blast. We had a picnic and Brayden played in the ocean for the first time. After the beach we went to a local farm and picked cherries, Brayden slept in our arms the whole time. Then we went to my mom's for dinner, yummy!

Brayden loves to eat whole pieces of fruit now! It is cute to watch and it seems he can down a peach in 5 seconds flat.

Sandy feet, what an awesome thing!

I think Brayden is now addicted to his PaPa's ribs too!

Little Red Caboose!

This is a video I took in March after Keira was born and we were in LA. Andrew's Nonnie taught him this song. Andrew then taught it to Brayden, with some mommy help of course. It became one of Brayden's favorite songs. Brayden and I love to watch this video!

Brayden's sweet voice!

This is my first post with videos, so hopefully everything works right.

Brayden has started singing and I love it! He is like me and will sing just about anytime, expect when we ask him to sing on the phone. I love his singing voice!

In the first video he is singing the hot dog song from the Mickey Mouse Club House. He is becoming a big Disney fan.

Brayden can sing bits and pieces of the alphabet including the last line. I love his expressions here! Sorry for the close up at the end, but he loves the camera. The only reason I get to take his picture is so he can see it on the camera.

New home additions!

Curtis and I spent another weekend reseeding our lawn and dirt where there was no lawn. This time we used a very stinky topsoil, and it worked. There is grass starting to grow all over the front yard. Now we have to do something with the backyard!

I am excited to say that we finally got dual-paned windows. They installed them yesterday and this morning and due to some problems they will finish the patio door and the last two windows next week. I can already tell a difference. It is quieter and cooler. I am sure the patio door is going to make a huge difference.
